How long does Progesterone take to work?

I have recently been prescribed progesterone and am set to start it soon. The only thing I've been diagnosed so far with all my testing is low progesterone. I'll be on 200mg of Prometrium. I'm wondering how long it has taken other women with low progesterone to get pregnant once this issue has been resolved. I know that Progesterone pills absorb into the body immediately and last 24 hours. Thanks!

my understanding is that it works on and within the cycle you take it for - elevating your progesterone for the 2ww only...

Thanks so much for the reply! I'm hoping it won't take many cycles then. I've heard it across the board. I suppose - just like many of us - I'm looking for that perfect answer that says it will work right away. . .  redface.gif

Not sure when you have low levels. However, I take a cream and at a certain point in the cycle, it stops my cramps almost instantly and they don't come back until it is almost time for the next dose.
