portable potty seat for public places?

We carry a baby bjorn little potty in the back of the car for potty stops while driving...But I need something small and compact and foldable that we can use for pottying when we are in public places that I can carry with me.  I tried to hold her on a public toilet recently and she was afraid of it and I had a huge "ICK" moment when she touched under the seat.

What do people use for this?  She is 21 months so we need something that is small enough for her little butt.

Thank you!

We have this and really like it. It folds up small enough to fit in the diaper bag. We use it at home, too, because it is small and light enough for my (2 yo) daughter to put on the toilet by herself, which of course gives her a thrill. wink1.gif

We have this one.

It's great - folds up and fits right in the diaper bag, easy to clean.  Works wonderfully.

FWIW, we tried this one and hated it immediately. It didn't lay flat, it didn't stay put, and DD refused to use it. Then, after use, I had to fold it up with the germy side out and carry it around with me?! No thank you!

And, being honest, DD touched everything anyway. It doesn't matter what I put on the seat, she still touches the handle, the tp dispenser, the walls of the stall, the door knob, the floor, etc. AND that dumb potty seat has that hole in the middle which is, imo, the grossest part of the seat anyway! We just sit DD sideways on the toilet and she learned to hold herself up really quickly. That's great, because she's now almost 4.5 and is still tiny, and no way would I want to tote that thing around all the time.

I'm not sure that is at all helpful, but I thought another perspective wouldn't be so bad. smile.gif

We use lots of tp, and I hold her up a little bit.

We also had that one and it was awful.

Now we have the Pottette plus and it's great. I expect it to be even greater when spring/summer rolls around, because you can use it freestanding (beach, park, etc)

DS is also 21 months, and the couple of times we tried without a seat, we were both totally uncomfortable and he didn't wanna go. Plus, if he has to poop, he needs to sit for a minute. Holding him up just wouldn't work for us.

Subbing! My daughter is also tiny and afraid of big potty seats. I have been looking for one of these, I guess I'll have to order it online!

I'm going to try the Pottette Plus.  I hope it's as portable as it looks!  I'll let you all know.
