I have a 2008 KIA Sedona, 7 passenger.  I currently have DD1 in a Sunshine kids (the 65 lb one) and DD2 in an infant seat.  I also have a Recaro Como in DH's car for occasional use.  I was super happy about getting a set that rear faced for so long, but since it has to be installed at a 45 degree angle, the front passenger seat is all the way scooted up.  I can't have another seat that is so large for behind the driver seat.  I want to get a convertible seat soon for DD2, but don't know what I should look for.  DD1 will be rear facing for another 6 months at least. DD1 is very tall for her age and will hit the height limit sooner than the weight limit.  I think DD2 is also going to be tall.

 

Would you get something like the First Years True Fit that has a removable headrest?  DD2 is only about 16 lbs and seems to be gaining on the slower end.
