Serger recommendations

I want to get a serger and my birthday is coming up so I need to look around and find what I want. I was wondering if you ladies can give me recommendations on a good serger. What brands, are there different types, which to get, etc. TIA!

I just bought the Juno 3434d from Hancock's sale, with free shipping it was $199.  I haven't ever used a serger before, but so far I am happy with it.  I read online that it was comparable with the Janome magnolia line serger, and Janome makes Juno.

I have a Janome serger from Hancock's and I love it.  It's not fancy, but it does what I need it to do and does it well.  It even does diapers well with 3-4 layers of bamboo fleece.
