Hi everyone!!!

I'm so excited to finally joing motheringdotcommunity to meet some new friends and mommies! I am a very very busy momma with an extremely spirited, active and strong willed 2 y/o DS who keeps me going and is such a joy in every way! Although we have the very typical terrible 2 & 3's moments (often!) I try to focus on the positves and cling to the good ole moment! =D In addition to him, I am also the very blessed mommy to a 10 mo miracle DD. She was born with half of a heart and after the miraculous healing from the Lord, an OHS at 4 days, a fundoplycation at 3 weeks, and gbutton; she is home happy and healthy! Still amazes us and doctors every day! After being told she may never eat by mouth and would be develpmentally waaaay behing and have many OHS, she is walking talking and EBFing with pride!!!

I absolutely LOVE to bake and plan on starting a small cupcake business soon! When DS & DD are older and in middle school, I am going back to school myself to become a Lactation Consultant and  can't wait! I am very blessed to have the opportunity to start some on the side amature Lactation Consulting with the state very soon! I'm just starting on my journey with super couponing and hope to find some useful tips on some threads here! I love to bargan and thrift shop as well!

Hello, welcome and best wishes to you in your cupcake business!  I recently took a Lactation Education certification course, and it was great.  I've thought about sitting for the IBCLC exam, but I need some coursework first, and I have a feeling I'm not going to get around to it, because I'm thinking of other things to do now.  But we need more LCs, so I wish you the best!
