They look like silvery flames--a visible reminder of the power within.
And they go well with the blue lightning on my chest that shows my power to feed my baby when he or she comes!
Are you still pregnant, or did you have a baby recently? Give it a few months. They do fade. Mine are silvery - I have ridiculously pale skin, so they're almost invisible (I don't really know what they look like on darker skin tones, honestly!). DH says he can't see them. I don't notice them unless I look up close. I don't know when they faded - I kinda had other things to think about postpartum, like sleep deprivation! Just like I never noticed my linea nigra fading... but it did, and they did, and 2.75 years on they're really not a huge deal.
That said, I don't love them, fought valiantly with expensive Bio-Oil to prevent them (unsuccessfully, obviously), and don't really want any more this time around. But I can live with them. At least, the ones on my tummy. The ones on my calves, caused by extreme swelling due to pre-eclampsia at the end of pregnancy? Not so keen on those. I mean... calves.
Yep, 38 week tommorow! Some of the actually feel like my skin is splitting (which I guess is what is happening?) I think my skin is prone to strech marks, I got them all over my boobs and hips when I hit puberty, and you are right they fade to nearly nothing.
