Mom of 1 year Old Twins with baby on the way needs carseat advice!

Hi guys.  A friend of mine is fairly newly pregnant (10 weeks).  She has twin 13 month old boys who were approximately 22 lbs at one year (and height proportional).  She currently has the twins in Snugride 32s and wants to buy them new seats.  She would like to use their infant seats for the new baby (coming in August when they will be 21 months).  Her husband things they should switch them forward facing now, but she is willing/wanting to keep them rear-facing for two full years.

Money isn't a *huge* deal, but this was an unexpected blessing!  So, the seats need to:

1) fit three across with one snugride 32

2) rear-face until at least 35 lbs (I've gotten her up to 2 years, I don't see her going to 4 years, but maybe past two.  She will not need the 40 lb rear-facing capacity, but may need over 25).

3) be fairly easy to install/ re-install.  She'd like them to fit in both of their vehicles (they will not be buying four new seats).

For me, I'm fairly sure that they will go straight to boosters from these seats, so I'd rather they lasted a long time harnessed.  Suggestions for placement in the cars would also be great.

They have a Lexus RX400h and a sedan (waiting for the info on that one--- less important to fit).  They'd rather not have to buy a new car.  They were planning on Britax Boulevards (they seem really sold on Britaxs) but I told her those were pretty wide and unlikely to fit.

Thanks for your help (as always!)

:)

ETA: The car is a BMW 7 series.

I'd try Radians, b/c they are super narrow, they will work well once they are forward facing as well.

I really like the radian's but in some car's the are really a pain to install RF. It is a dream to FF install. The other issue is that moving them back and forth will be quite cumbersome. They are heavy. If you aren't doing it daily it won't be a problem but it may turn some people off. With that being said it seems that the radians are their only option. you can also look on car-seat.org and search their cars to see installation stories. Good Luck.
