Utero Noises?

So, I've read the clicking thread and I've heard that babies sometimes cry in the womb...

But today at my appointment the nurse couldn't find the heartbeat but we heard distinct "cooing" baby sounds from the doppler. Do babies talk/sing/coo in the womb too? Would a doppler be able to "hear" that? It was amazing. Incredible. Just awesome. I asked the nurse if the baby was cooing and she said, "That's what it sounds like to me." She also said she hadn't heard that before. So, is my kid a freak already, gifted already, or was the nurses doppler funky? lol.giforngbiggrin.gif

Is anyone else familiar with cooing/talking/singing babies in utero???

Yes. I thought a I had heard a cooing-squeaking noise coming from the baby a week or so ago.
