Floor bed in baby proofed room + mobile baby = chaos!
Â
So far this week, I have rescued the baby from: underneath his crib (which is unused and will be dismantled this weekend); from the corner of his room in which he had lodged himself without being able to crawl forward; and from behind the door of his room. Â All in all he is a great sleeper (this is new) but now that he is crawling he is having a really hard time settling...he usually nurses 'till drowsy and pops himself off and then falls asleep fairly quickly. Â Now he nurses 'till drowsy and suddenly starts acting like he has ants in his pants. Â Do babies just get used to their mobility and resume their prior stationary sleep habits? Â Or should I reconsider the crib? Â (We used to co-sleep but we ALL sleep much better independently and in separate rooms--including the baby!)
