I can only watch "the office" online after it airs on television.  Is the last most recent episode still "classy christmas"?  Are they going to have more new episodes?

There's a new one this Thursday finally.  Steve Carrell is only in the next 4 episodes and then he's done for good.  bawling.gif

thanks so much for the info.  I was late to the office game, but I love it now.  So bummed it will be over soon :(

The word is that they're going to carry on the show after he leaves. We'll see. We love this show!

DH and I have been watching since Season 1, episode 1 (own all DVDs, board games, watch it every day) and we both hoped they would end it when Michael leaves.   I just don't have high hopes.

I really liked the Valentines episode.  It was the best one so far this season.  Kevin had some great lines.  Jim & Pam were cracking me up all drunk looking for a secret hiding place.  lol.  I'm really going to miss Michael Scott.  You know who I won't miss?  Kelly!  This is her last season too and honestly I couldn't be happier.  I thought for sure they were grooming her to be manager.  If that was the case, I would have stopped watching it for sure.

There's a new episode this week finally!  Michael is going to ask Holly to marry him according to my DVR.  The office is also having a garage sale, which might make for an interesting episode.

Now I know I'm a little more emotional than usual, but did anyone else get choked up during the proposal?  Then the "rain" came.  OMG, I was sobbing!  I was afraid I was going to wake up my kids because I couldn't even stifle it.  I'm really going to miss Michael.  I think the whole office will.

i'm excited about will ferrell though!!

I wasn't impressed with last night's episode.  First off, I thought it was going to be Steve Carrel's last episode, but apparently that isn't until April 28th (and it's going to be a 50 minute episode).  I started to like Will Ferrell's character at first.  He seemed to be like Michael, but then he started changing and I don't know.  I didn't really care for that.  I know they aren't going to fill Michael's position with a carbon copy of him, but HE is what makes the office "The Office."  Ugh.  I don't deal with change well.

What is the native american girl's name?

This week's episode was better.  I was cracking up when Erin broke up with Gabe over the mic.  She is one of my favorite characters. She is so clueless.  lol.gif  I surprisingly didn't get teary eyed during the singalong, but when they showed the commercial with scenes from next week I started sobbing hysterically.  I don't think I'll be able to take it.  I'm so sad Michael Scott is leaving!

I liked the last ep too. I thought it was great and I loved the bits where Vickers was trying out jokes and Jim was like, no, just don't. I heard one of them in an interview saying the rest of the show is going to be like a spin-off now, and its great because we get to see the same characters we know in new situations, and that it will be like a new show.

I am optimistic that the show will be funny without Micheal Scott. I just don't understand why he wants to leave :)

I heard he wanted to spend more time with his family.  I hope that's true.

What did  you all think of Michael's last episode? I cried like a baby but I think that's the hormones :)

I cried, too, and I'm not even pregnant.  It was sad.  :(

I cried during Dwight's recommendation letter and the scene with Jim and Michael.  I really wasn't a fan of the rest of it.  I don't think it did Michael justice.  He's the kind of guy that likes to go out with a bang.  I mean he wanted to propose to Holly with fire in the parking lot for pete's sake.  For him to just not come in on his last day made me really mad.  I thought the last "That's what she said" after he gave back his mic was great though.  That was true to character.

I can't wait to see how they write Kelly Kapoor out.  I can't stand her character.

Dh and I actually really enjoyed the last episode.  We've been watching since season 1 and hadn't really been enjoying this season all that much.  But the last episode had us both laughing and I liked watching Michael hold it together a little.  The funniest part had to be him laughing after giving Oscar the "scarecrow".  OMG....we watched that over about 5 times and I'm laughing again just thinking about it.
