storing cloth dipes for next babe ... any tips?

We have a bunch of medium Fuzzi Bunz that I need to store now that DD is in the large ones.  Any tips as to how to store them?  Do you do a sanitary wash first? Breathable box versus cardboard box or cloth bag?  I just want to be sure that they don't get musty or moldy.  Any tips from BTDT mama would be great!  Thanks!

I stored my DS's outgrown dipes in plastic tubs. I just opened them to add some more and even the ones that have been put away for 7 months seemed fine. I would just make sure they are really, really dry and not store them somewhere too hot.

I stored ours in a Rubbermaid box too. They all came out with no mould, etc, but the elastics in all the FBs and BGs were shot. I suspect that my putting them in the dryer when I first had them, combined with storage, killed them. So when you pull them out, test them to make sure the elastic still works!
