what is the widest stretchy wrap?

Thread Starter

i'm actually thinking of purchasing my own stetchy wrap for a newborn-to-come b/c i loved the borrowed one i used with dd so much when she was smaller.

but i was always interested in doing a cradle hold with the fabric doubled over but i felt like the one i had (i think they used to sell at target and are out of business) was too narrow. i'd like to get the widest available for that reason.

any tips?

The widest that I know of is the Wrapsody Stretch-Hybrid.  It's not as stretchy as some of the other stretch wraps, which means it will be more supportive with older heavier babies.  It can also be used safely for back carries.

Hope that helps!

I second that exactly!  :)  It's the best stretchy wrap because it really does last until toddlerhood!

I third that, I love the wrapsody balistretches!  I had a moby with baby #1 and liked it a lot, but I loooove my balistretch.  The moby's collecting dust;)  I haven't ever done cradle holds with it, though, as bub doesn't like to recline.
