late talker, delayed teething - rlated?

Dd started getting her teeth kind of early -- well, I guess right around on time, as her first tooth came in at 5 months two weeks. By the time she was 10 months old she had all eight front teeth, but since then, and she's almost 15 months, she has not gotten a single other tooth. Also, she really isn't talking. Are these related? Anyone else have this happen?

They are not related for my DS -- he started getting his first teeth at about a year old, but said his first words somewhere around 9mos old & picked up language quickly, started combining words around 14mos -- so he was a very late teether & on the early side with talking.

DD was a super early talker, and is super duper verbal (sentences at a year), but didn't get her first tooth until she was 15 months old.

No, they're not related at all.

Both of my kids were early teethers (4mo), one was a late talker (said mama at 2) and the other one is within the normal range for talking (30-40 words at 17mo).
