Fantastic HBAC - Arthur is here! 1/15 - UPDATE now with photo :)

Hi Mamas,

We welcomed Arthur Meriwether on Saturday morning at 9:22 AM after only 6 hours of active labor!  8-10 good pushes and out he came.

We had a fantastic labor support team, wonderful midwives, and supportive friends... I couldn't have asked for a better birth after a mediocre hospital experience the first time (2006) and a C-section for DS1 (2008). 

Don't let anyone tell you a primary HBAC is out of the question, if that's what you really want, choose your providers carefully, eat well and prepare.  You can do it!
