Hello all,

I have no idea if this is the correct forum for this question.  I went looking for a "family farm" forum, and this looks to be the closest to it.  Please feel free to move my question or re-direct me to a better place if need be.

So, if your cow has worms/parasites, can it be passed directly into the milk?  and thus if you are drinking it raw, you then catch the worms?

The naturally-minded websites I have come across indicate that this is not possible.  That any worms you as a human catch are from not washing the cows's udder properly, and from unclean equipment or hands, contaminated with feces and maggot eggs.  That makes sense to me.

But of course mainstream websites say that cows with parasites can pass it directly through to the milk.

So, what is the truth?

Thanks!
