What furniture wall strap is high quality?

Basically, I want to secure our bookshelf & entertainment center to the wall so they don't tip over. I have seen mixed reviews online. Some people say that the strap becomes brittle & breaks after 1-2 years. Has anyone found a good brand? Thanks mommas.

We use these for our bookshelves. Have had them for about 3 years and they are not brittle.

We use heavy duty brackets screwed into the studs in the wall.  Yeah, not pretty, but it gets the job done.  I have a climber, a cat, and a cheap ikea bookcase.  You do the math, lol!

Thanks WindyCity Mom. I think I'll use the brackets for our tall bookshelf, but our entertainment center is about 4 inches away from the wall. We'll probably have to use the straps for that.
