Didn't find out the sex this time- ideas for the birth and/or announcement?

I'm expecting my third child any time now, and we didn't find out the sex this time. Right now, the only plan we have is for dh to be the one to tell me whether it's a boy or a girl. We haven't gotten beyond that at all. My daughter and son will be with my parents during my homebirth. When we call them to ask them to bring the kids over, do you think we should tell them on the phone or have them see when they arrive? 

What about everybody else? We'll probably call dh's family and just tell them on the phone...everybody else will probably find out on facebook! Any fun ideas for announcing it on FB? I had two onesies monogrammed- one with "Baby Sister" and one with "Baby Brother" I guess I could take a pic of the baby in his/her onesie and post it on FB.

Any other ideas?

We've never found out the gender of our babies before birth -- so the announcement (phone, email, facebook) just always includes the "It's a girl!" (in our case...!) and the name and stats!  I think it would be fun for your kiddos to find out when they meet their new brother/sister... 

One of the sweetest moments of my DD2's birth was just after she was born, and she was on my chest, already wrapped in a blanket.  Dh asked the MWs, "Is it a boy or a girl?" and the MW shrugged and said she didn't know, and why didn't we look.  So of course, we did.  Dh has never "announced" the sex to me, because I'm the one holding the baby -- if anything, I've told him.  Which is even more special, ime!
