Play Space pics

I would love to see what play spaces have been created for your children!

I had the impulse to take a picture the other day after we cleaned up the living room and removed the holiday tree. 

There are many more toys but they are being re-shuffled and organized in an adjacent area.

I love it.  Lots of windows.  Nice table and chairs.  And SHELVES!!!  I love shelves, so you can have somewhere for the toys to go after playing.

I love your cubby hole shelving and you baskets. It's really hard to thrift baskets in the UK but I have a waldorf school nearby and sometimes I can find second hand ones at there winter/summer fairs.... aswell as sheepskin rugs!

Most of the baskets I got at yard sales (score!) but a few of them were from A.C Moore, a craft store here.  When they have a sale I go nuts.  The cubbies were from there too.

I have a larger version of that with two levels from IKEA in his room, but that will be part of the living room when we move.  I'm working on bedroom being ONLY for bed, clothes and books. 

Your set up is wonderful.  I am slowly finding places for everything.  A full Kitchen will be this year's Yule gift for sure.

We're just at the very very beginning of our waldorf play space creation and on a tight budget...I've made the playsilks, fairy, ball, blocks (not seen),doll, felt food... love som inspiration and suggestions though!
