think fast- ran out of dish soap

And really don't feel like running out today to buy more!!!

I have-

liquid hand soaps

liquid laundry detergent

floor cleaner (pinesol)

Which would be the best sub?  Grease cutting is a must!!!

I'd go for the hand soap before anything else..  I don't think you should ever use Pinesol on anything you'd eat with!

Do you have any baking soda? Lemons? Vinegar?

If so, I would scrub with the soda (and lemon juice if you have it), then rinse with boiling water.

Or I would soak in boiling water with a bit of vinegar, then scrub with a sponge and rinse again.

I would not use any of the things you listed on dishes.

I have used the laundry soap, hand soap, and even shampoo.Takes more rinsing to get the fragrance off.No pine cleaner.Baking soda seems like a good option. I will try that next time.

I've washed dishes with baking soda and vinegar.  Dishes (even had an oily/tomatoey pan in there) go in one side of the sink with about half a cup of baking soda.  Let soak for a half hour, wipe with wash cloth, put into second side of sink that has about a half cup of vinegar, take out and dry.  They were as clean as when I use soap.
