Blebs/plugs?

About 1.5 months ago I started having nipple pain on my right side (baby was 2 months then).  It hurt quite badly for the first 30 seconds or so and then went away.  I had a white dot on my nipple and it got worse after I fought a major plugged duct one day.  I was told it was probably a bleb.  Then I had another on appear.  I CANNOT get rid of this things though.  I have tried to lance them numerous times but when I go under the skin and open up the area, there is nothing but pink flesh under the white spot.  Could this be something else?  Every now and then I get a plugged duct and the only way I can open it up is to dig around the bleb area with a sterilized needle and then the milk flows again.  But again, there appears to be nothing to actually pull out of my nipple.  Does this make sense?
