making my mohair boucle more curly?

my mohair boucle doesn't look like this mohair boucle.

i'm guessing they treated it somehow. any ideas?

I doubt that the doll wig in the photo has been "treated" with anything to make it full like that. The mohair boucle yarn in the photo is a very thick, springy version and It looks as though it has been crochetted with many looped strands placed close together to give it the fullness you like. Try crochetting your loop cap carrying 2-3 strands of boucle at one time, as you work.
