Ignoring forums?

I searched and found a thread about this from 2006 but it was locked.  Is this something that is available to do?  I would like to ignore a few of the forums :)

I know you can "collapse" entire sections by clicking on the "-" sign at the top right of the section (for instance, Parenting, Breastfeeding, Health" etc.

yeahthat.gif last I read that was the only way to do it. The titles still show but the threads/forum is hidden.

Hi!

We don't currently have a way for members to put individual forums on ignore, but we have requested this feature be developed for us. You can collapse an entire category like WindyCityMom and MCatLvrMom2A&X mentioned which shouldremove the forum titles and thread titles from your immediate viewing. The categories that can be collapsed this way are: Welcome to MDC, Parenting, Pregnancy and Birth, Breastfeeding, Health, Education, Natural Family Living and the Trading Post.

To collapse a category, look for the the purple bar and then the "-" sign. Click it, and this should remove the forums in the category from your view.

To see all the forums under the purple bar again, just click the button which will now be a plus sign. Click the plus sign and the forums and thread list in this section will be visible (expand).

We'll definitely keep everyone posted with the software updates and new features as they occur. I'm keeping updates in this thread: http://www.mothering.com/community/forum/thread/1286485/administrative-news-and-software-release-information which is also posted in this forum's Note area (the tannish area at the top of the thread list).
