...if she makes it that long.    Something must have happened last night - she was fine before bed.  But when my husband got home from work, he called me up to look at her.  She spends a lot of her time sleeping in front of the heating vent in the bathroom, and hadn't really moved much today.  Well, now she's kinda rolling around having trouble using her one side - I think she may have had a stroke or something.  It was late when we noticed so no vet.  I'm going to call in the morning, I hope he can take us in the morning.  I'd hate to see her suffer. 

She's about 15 years old.  She was so small when I got her, she fit in my back pocket.  It's sad.

it s so hard when we have to make the choice to let them go. Almost the same thing happened with my Stimpy this past summer she was fine on a Monday then Wed. night she was struggling to break. I let her go Thursday morning

Don't panic, but don't delay. If she'd thrown a saddle thrombus, she'd probably be howling. True stroke is uncommon. Just proceed immediately to the vet. Do not doodle around with the front desk, just say "unilateral paresis" and let them know you're already there.

I am so sorry.... we lost our kitty one year ago and it was so sad.

Probable stroke.  Very unusual in cats, he said, but all signs point towards it.  Well, short of $200 worth of overnights, tests & xrays, we got her some medicines & will see how she is progressing in a few days.

I don't think at 12 years old she will do well with all that poking & prodding.
