US or CA Singapore math?

I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but I can't find it.  I want to get Singapore math, but I'm not sure if I should get the US version or the CA version.  The CA version is pricier, is it worth the extra cost?  Would we be missing much getting the cheaper US version?

Thanks!

Here is a good link about the differences:

US version for sure. I asked this on their forums too. The more they change it to fit things here, the less Singapore you will see in it. Go with the US version.

BTW, the CA version was made for public schools, the US version was not. It was simply the original version with a few lessons added in to include standard measures and such. If I wanted to be just like the public schools, I would have the kids write papers about their feelings about the numbers and relate the numbers to their favorite colors and animals rather than doing actual calculations and such. While the CA version is not THAT bad(they don't do that at all), why even consider going closer to where the public schools are?

We use the US version.

The one thing about the Standards Edition is that the Home Instructor's Guide (HIG) is written MUCH better than the US HIG. To me, since I need the HIG, that is the selling point for the Standards Edition.
