Who is in charge of birth announcements?

We dont seem to have a thread of birth announcements, and have had a lot of babies already.  Who's going to take on this task?

Maybe someone who is due at the end of the month?

Maybe someone can just start a birth announcements thread.  No pressure to keep up with anything, but at least everything would be in one place.  I would also suggest the idea of adding a poll to the announcements thread so we can see how many boys, girls, b/b twins, b/g twins, and g/g twins.

Slightly off topic - but am the only one that gets the feeling that any minute now we're going to be flooded with people announcing their feb babies are here?!

I keep coming over expecting that somebody's had their baby- there was a little trickle of them last week and now nothing- I bet it's happening soon! I was so shocked to realize there are so few days left in January already!

I pm'ed the mod and asked her to change out the "Roll Call" thread with the correct "February Babies on the Way" thread. Although right now in my brain I'm having trouble figuring out why it was important for me to just to say that...oh, yeah...because that was the roll call we were using we could update there as an idea.

Sooner and sooner babies and more babies!

No, that's why I started the thread!  Plus it seems unfair to our early mamas to not be on a list somewhere.  And I bet the lurkers are disappointed.  (I have a friend who regularly checks all the DDC's to see what people are naming their kids.)
