Implantation Bleeding?

So I have a 10 week old son and have not gotten my period back yet.  But yesterday there was some blood when I went to the bathroom, only once and nothing again since then.  Could this be my period coming back (even though there hasn't been any more blood) or possible implantation bleeding?

I did not have implantation bleeding with my 1st son, so not sure what to expect.  Plus, its hard to tell since I haven't gotten my period back yet, if this is one or the other.  I have no other symptoms of getting my period or being pregnant.

If it is possible implantation bleeding, when can I test to see if I'm pregnant?  Is today too early?

It's very common for women to have a bit of residual PP bleeding at around 8 weeks.  For me, it was just a one-time SPLORCH of red blood (that unfortunately stained my mattress) and nothing further.  My cycle did not return until 13 months PP.  I had implantation bleeding with my son and it was just a tiny streak of pink CM.  Assuming you're breastfeeding fully on demand, I think it's very likely neither your period NOR implantation bleeding, but just some residual PP bleeding.
