how much cramping is normal?

Hi ladies!  I hope to be joining soon - I just got my first BFP today!!!

My question is this - how much cramping is normal?  I started cramping yesterday, so I was sure I would get a BFN today.  But instead I did get a BFP (3, actually).  The cramping has continued today - it feels like day-of-AF cramps, but not consistent, just off and on.

Is this normal?   It's taken me 13 long months to get a BFP, I want everything to be okay and am stressing out.

Hi & huge congratulations to you!

What you describe sounds exactly like what I feel with each pregnancy. At the verrry beginning I get cramps that feel identical to AF cramps. They worry me everytime! I just got my BFP last night (3 of them, too! lol), and today am feeling on & off AF-like cramps.

Try not to worry! It's normal. :)

My last pregnancy, my third, I started getting cramps the night before my period was due, and had them for several weeks.  I recall a bit of cramping with my first as well.  But not my second and, so far, not much this time.  I wouldn't worry.

Congratulations on your BFP!!! So thrilled for you!!!!
