Any mama's out there had a successful VBA2C ?

I am currently ttc #3, but KNOW that I do NOT want another ceserean unless my or my childs life is in danger. My daughter (#1) was breech, I was 19, my husband was deployed, and I didnt know any better; so I agreed to a csection at 38.5 weeks. My son was supposed to be a VBAC, but due to complications during my pregnancy, my dr. concluded that I had gallbladder disease and it needed to be removed ASAP. I had an emergency gallbladder removal (& hence my son was also scheduled to be delivered) at 35 weeks. He spent time in the NICU and his first 2 months with a feeding tube.

Needless to say, Im ready to do it right. Im hoping to have a HBA2C and have found an awesome LM in my area who is experienced in VBAC's.

I just wanted to hear of anyone who has had a successful VBA2C that would like to share their story? I know this is the decision I want to make, and that it's best for baby and myself, but I still have anxiety. Since, of course, it's been hammered into my brain about the complications that could arrive and how quickly I could die if they do occur.

I am a healthy, fit, 24 year old. I have no health issues, and we eat organic/naturally. Eating out is a rare occasion (maybe every couple of months) and I excersize at least 4 days a week. My family and especially my husband is 100% on board with my decision, so I am blessed with an awesome support system. joy.gif

I forgot to add that my daughter is 4 (in March) and my son is 20 mos old; so it will be over 2 years since my last ceserean and at least 21 mos by the time my pregnancy starts (if I manage to get a BFP next month)

I had a VBA3C.  Check out my blog...it's new, but for moms who are wanting a VBAMC.  www.victorybirth.blogspot.com Good for you for going for a HBA2C.  You should stay out of the hospital if you can.  You can read my birth story at www.cherryblossomdoula.blogspot.com.  or here in the birth stories section...it's titled "my hard earned VBA3C with fused sacrum and softball sized fibroid...or something like that."

Good luck!!!
