I'm a bit of a novice on titers, but for the vaccines I'm planning to get for my ds, I'm debating getting titers tested for him after the  first shot in each series, and then considering whether we need to do more of them, based on the results. I assume there must be specific IgM (?) levels, for each disease, which are considered high enough to indicate that immunity is likely. If so, where might I find information on these appropriate levels?  I'd like to get an idea what we'd be looking for.Â

Any general info on the issue of titers is welcome too. I know, for example, that titers are not necessarily a reliable gauge for certain diseases ~ from what I've read, these include Pertussis, Hib, and Pc, which are the diseases I'm considering vaccinating for. What about Tetanus? Thanks for any info you can point me to, or for just offering clarification, if you know something more about this.Â
