I had a c-section on December 10th and today my final Steri-Strips just fell off. Is that normal?

Hey Mama!  My DD was also born on the 10th!  :)  Not sure if other mama's are still checking in here, most of us are on a Dec '10 Mamas group on Facebook (it's a private group) - join us over there!

Friend me, Jamie Pearson Fleming, and I'll add you to the group!

I had the strips with my first c/s and yeah it took a long time for them to finally fall off. I didn't have them at all with 2 and 3.

I had a c/s 12/28 and I finally just peeled off my steri strips last night. they had finally started peeling and they were annoying me, so I went ahead and took them off. The nurse had told me not to soap them, but when I saw the doc, he said I was supposed to be doing that and that most come off by 2 weeks. It's been over 3, so I figured what the heck? :)

With my first c-section my strips started coming off about 2 weeks after I had my staples removed.  This go round they only did staples and they didn't use the steri strips after they removed my staples after a week.  You should be fully healed though so if all of them aren't off you should be able to take them off yourself.

I had my son on 12/7, and they told me to take the strips off if they didn't come off on their own after two weeks. So I took them all off at that point.
