Maternity Support Belts help please

Thread Starter

Hi all, my midwife wants me to get a maternity support belt because of severe lower abdomen pain, back pain, hip pain...This is my 6th pregnancy, 3rd child. After my second dd I had prolapse issues so basically I just need some help in holding everything up when I'm on my feet.

I've been researching them and reading lots of reviews. I think I've decided on trying the Mother-to-be Maternity support belt. Anyone have/wear a belt and if so what brand and what do you like/dislike about it? Also if anyone has this brand, is the sizing correct? Thanks for the input!

Can your midwife get you a referral to get a medical one?  The ones I tried (I have both a lumbar support belt AND a sacral belt for severe pelvic separation) that were "over the counter" weren't enough for me, and it sounds like you might want something a little more heavy-duty.  (and maybe your insurance will cover it?)

I have one called the SI lock that I got from my physical therapist.  It's great!
