BF and safety of garlic/allicin pills? Any other preventative remedy suggestions?

I would like to take odourless garlic while on holidays in Mexico for prevention of random sickness and mosquito borne disease specifically (I got dengue there last time!). I bought the pills, and of course saw the box says not for use during pg/BF. I can't imagine why not but anybody know/have resources? I am thinking of taking them anyways.

Also, any other recs for good immune boosters? will be continuing D3 at 6000/day, probiotics, and bringing echanacea.

And, what anti-diarheal is safe? the pharmacist said kaopectate is "the safest."
