"I can't homeschool because" response

Could someone try this out for me and see how it goes over?

Next time someone reacts to you telling them you homeschool by going in to a long explanation of why they can't homeschool (several examples provided in paragraph 14 of http://www.secular-homeschooling.com/010/reluctant_confessor.html) reply:

"That's okay, it is legal to send your kids to school."

and report back how it goes.

I don't homeschool, but I am a vegetarian, so I know just the reaction she's talking about.
