Is this safe to eat?

Ok, I am 39 weeks now so you would think I would be over being paranoid about food lol.


Anyway, my mom threw a small baby shower for me this past Sunday (it's now Wed). She made a pasta salad that had just pasta, italian dressing, cucumbers, and shredded cheddar cheese. I just finished it off and it's been in the fridge for the past 3-4 days... do you think it was okay? is this something that would be risky for Listeria? Thanks!

I wouldn't think twice if it were me. That sounds really yummy! My mom makes something similar...corkscrew multi colored pasta, Italian dressing, shredded cheese, black sliced up olives, finely cut up onions, and salt/pepper. On the additional days I eat it, I warm it up just a tad and drizzle some ranch dressing on it! Oh yum! Guess what I'm going to have mama make me tomorrow?!?!?! Hahahaha

I personally wouldnt eat it after today. According to food laws here resteraunts are only allowed to keep pre-cooked food for three days before tossing it.

I definitely would, especially since it doesn't have any meat or seafood in it.

3-4 days?  No problem.  Closer to a week is when I feel weird.  But especially since their was no meat, I'd have no worries :)
