URL links not working

When I use the link icon on at the top of the reply box or post the link directly, the URL shows up in my reply but disappears in the submitted post. I switched to BB Code just a few days ago because I was having trouble getting the reply boxes to work at all. Could that be the problem now? I'm pretty sure I could post links before I switched to BB Code.

Oh, no! I'm sorry you're continuing to have problems even though you've switched to BB Code. BB Code should not be affecting your ability to link. 

 

Can you let me know what browser and operating system you're using? Also, can you try posting a link directly in your reply (without using the hyperlink icon) to me and see what happens? 

 

Have you cleared your cookies and cache recently? I never hurts to try that, too.

I'm using the most up to date version of Firefox on Windows Vista. I haven't cleared my cookies and cache lately. I have a lot of stuff saved there that I need to keep but I'm not computer literate enough to know how to keep what I want and delete the rest. Here's a directly posted like.

Huh? What do you know? The link worked that time. Maybe I was messing things up by trying to repost after trying the hyperlink.
