Can anyone point me in the direction of some good information on Soy? Everything im finding online is confusing and conflicting, I don't know where to start, but since our family does eat/drink soy products regularly, I would like to find out more about it. Anyone have any links etc?

I'd start on the vegetarian forum here on mdc---there is a soy-free resource, and I'm pretty sure there are a lotta folks there who can talk in depth about the baddies in soy.

For me and my fam, we do consume "traditional" whole soy products like tempeh, edamame, braggs, and soy milk but try to avoid anything with the soy isolate or that's processed. We eat it maybe once a week and use the soy milk sparingly, maybe a half a cup every couple days or so (like on cereal).

I know it has plant estrogens and that's one big argument against it, but I really don't know why. I just figure it's all about moderation, you know, not a whole box o veggie burgers per person per day JMO.
