Pumping every hour in the evening?

Right now E goes to bed at 6pm and sleeps solidly til about midnight. H is pumping every hour through the evening to make enough for me to give E a 4oz bottle when she wakes so that H can get a small chunk of sleep.  Do you think that if she didn't pump every hour, and then pumped once just before bed (around 9pm) that she would get the same 4oz? Or more? It seems like this is resembling cluster feeding, but would just one pump do the same job?

Baby is 5 months old? I would think she might be able to do that. I shifted from 3 to 2 pump sessions at work around that age after having a busy day and missing a session and finding out that my total output was the same. Also, I think given the age of the baby, she could experiment with it for a night or two without disrupting supply.
