To preface:  My son is not a good sleeper and a terrible napper-He is 13 months

But..just after Christmas things started to get better, he would go to sleep in his crib between 6:30-7:30, sleep for 3-4 hours then wake up, drink a bottle and come sleep in our bed.  He would wake up around 3-4, drink a small bottle and go back to sleep until 6 or 7.  This is a good night schedule for us, I can handle getting up once in the middle of the night.  DH and I were feeling good and rested for the first time in a while.....

Then DS got a cold-sleep was still ok, but a little worse.  As the cold ended...he got the stomach bug and it all went downhill!

The issues:  bad diarrhea, so probably stomach pain and many middle-night diaper changes, sometimes so bad that they involved bathing.  And....the crux of the problem-I was seriously cutting down on his milk.  bottles of Pedialyte only.  The milk was making the diarrhea worse.  So, we got to the point of him waking up every 2 hrs screaming!  I thought it was stomach pain, maybe it was at the beginning.  But, it was also the beginning of a "milk bottle obsession".  So the diarrhea finally stopped after about 9-10 days.  Towards the end we were giving some milk and now he points at the milk bottle and screams! Nothing else calms him down, pedialyte bottle, water bottle-nope, has to be milk.

OK-so, where this long story has landed us is:  DS waking up every TWO hours screaming, and nothing calms him but...yep, bottle of milk.  OK-I cannot wake up every two hours.  I am starting to lose it......after a year of not sleeping well, this is too much.

ANy suggestions?  At about 4:00 this morning, I was ready to put him back in the crib and just go to sleep while he cried...luckily I laid him in the bed and he went to sleep.  (this was after a bottle, but apparently not enough!)
