Any American mama's in Strasbourg/Mulhouse?

Looking for english speaking mama's who can direct me to homebirth and a english speaking midwife in the Strasbourg/Mulhouse area. I am 28 wks pregnant and need to find a midwife soon. I do not speak french, so I feel very limited in what to do.

I don't live in France anymore, but I know that homebirth midwives are few and far between there.

You might have better luck looking for a German midwife who is just over the border.

I will do a quick search for you and see what I find.

No luck yet, but you might want to contact Agnes Keller. She is an English-speaking doula in the Strasbourg area.

Yes, actually here in Strg. the one midwife came over the border and she spoke German and English, not French. 

 

Some of my girlfriends went for it anyway. 

 

La Leche is a good source for this sort of information. They will know if anyone is doing home births these days. Get a friend to ask for you if your French is limited. You also want to emphasize that this is not your first baby! They may be more receptive to an experienced mom.
