I know it's a process, but I can't seem to find any more info other than that!

My son just turned 2 in Dec. He's slowly been nursing less and less. For 6 months or so it was only after waking in the morning and after his nap, and any time he got hurt, etc. Lately it hasn't even been that. He's gone a few days in teh past month where he didn't nurse at all. Instead of asking to nurse in the morning he wants to go downstairs and play. Even if I offer he says no. He's also been eating a lot more solids teh past month and drinks great out of a glass or sippy.

Do you think he's close to weaning? How much longer, do you think? At first I was like "no! He can't be ready, I'M not ready." Lol. But now I've made peace with it if that's what he wants.

How does this process normally go...?

Oh and I should mention. Even when he goes all day without nursing my breasts are still fairly deflated. So he must not be taking too much in when he does....
