We are headed to Mumbai in late July!  We will be teaching in an int'l American school and relocating with our 3 children.  I am excited, but getting a bit of cold feet about the whole experience.  I am ridiculously nervous about the flight there!

 

I'd love to hear about life in India from any one who is there!

Hi Noah's mom! I'm not currently in Mumbai but I grew up there and stil consider myself a 'bombayite'. where in Mumbai are going to be staying? how old are your children? there is a very active natural birthing group called Birth India that is based in Mumbai and it has a very active yahoogroup - birthindia@yahoogroups.com - you may have already heard about it. the group of moms there are a great source of information on natural parenting, organic products etc. If you aren't a member I highly recommend you join and post your question there. You'll receive a lot more response...

Hi!  I'm an American currently living in Mumbai.  I travel a lot internationally with my DD (usually without my DH), so I can definitely offer advice on plane trips as well as life here in India.  What, specifically, would you like help with?  Feel free to send me some questions, either here or in a private message. :)
