5. Do you have any names picked out?  Piper Ann if it is a girl (I have a long list, but this is the one DH agrees with)

6. List 3 facts about yourself.  I am a lawyer, I am very sarcastic and I usually spend the spring and summer doing triathlons

7. Is this your last baby or do you want more? I don't know.  I said #2 was going to be the last, but if I had 3 I would want 4.

8. Do you have any cravings yet?  Nope

9.  What is your plan for the birth?  Homebirth or birth center.  I am meeting with both to decide.

10. We know healthy, but hoping for a girl/boy/twins?  Girl

13. Do you have any hobbies? Knitting and crocheting.  I just learned to use my sewing machine and DH and I have been making cloth diapers from scraps of fabric around the house.  And then there is the triathlon thing that I do.  I plan to move to just using the bike trainer for the next few months... won't be out of the roads while pg.

14. How many pregnancy tests have you taken so far, lol?  ummm... 8 I think... oh no, 9!  I have 3 still in wrappers and this is the first day I didn't test first thing in the morning.  With DS1 I was still testing at 33w to see how quickly the line came up.  LOL

15. Have you told anyone your pregnant or waiting? If waiting, details.  My best friend and sister know.  I only told them to get their help on creative ways to tell DH.  I am going to try to hold off telling DH until Valentines Day, but I think that may be next to impossible.

I'm 31. DH and I are both ornithologists. When I was young, I saw myself as a working Mom, but I'm wondering more and more if I want to be a SAHM... We'll see. 

7. Is this your last baby or do you want more? I like the idea of 3, but we'll start with one :)

8. Do you have any cravings yet?  I want comfort food- BAD. It is also Maine in mid-winter, so it could be just the cold and snow!

9.  What is your plan for the birth?  Birth center attached to a hospital attended by midwife.

10. We know healthy, but hoping for a girl/boy/twins?  Whatever! Twins sound scary- but oddly appealing... A boy would be easier (2 young nephews 1 hours away) but I also like the idea of a girl. Though mother-daughter relationships can be crazy... Who cares! Healthy please!

11. You hope your baby has your ____ and his______. (eyes.. smile etc)  Hmmm, my sense of right/wrong [I've been dealing with some unethical people lately and it freaks me out] and my DH's resilience/positivity/humor

12. What state do you live in?  Maine baby!

13. Do you have any hobbies? x-country skiing/running/walking/hiking/throwing sticks for our insane dog whom I hope mellows out a bit in 9 months. I love baking and cooking, gardening, good beer :(. I guess I shouldn't put good beer as a hobby, right?

14. How many pregnancy tests have you taken so far, lol?  2. One Monday looked neg- but I really felt I was pg so I got another one last night and today got a yes!

15. Have you told anyone your pregnant or waiting? DH and I are in discussions about our approach. I had to tell a good friend who I email every day at work since she knows what i've been going through and I have some major life decisions coming up- and being pg changes things considerably. For our first pg, we told close friends and family early and I honestly was so happy for every person who knew through the miscarriage as they offered invaluable support. Still- it is so early, I want to enjoy this time with DH and I now and maybe start telling those we are very close to in a few days?

9.  What is your plan for the birth?  I've had three natural hospital births, my third baby was a water birth.  I'm deciding between another hospital water birth and a home water birth.  I'm going to interview some homebirth midwives and see what feels right.

10. We know healthy, but hoping for a girl/boy/twins?  I have two boys and a girl - so another girl would be awesome so my dd has a sister.

14. How many pregnancy tests have you taken so far, lol?  I plead the 5th!  I had an early miscarriage last summer, so I'm really nervous this time.  I've been using IC's to watch the line get darker.  It makes me feel better.

15. Have you told anyone your pregnant or waiting? If waiting, details.  We're waiting until after our first appt, which I haven't scheduled yet, but I'm assuming will during March sometime.

I told a couple friends that knew I would be finding out around this time. We are waiting a couple weeks to tell anyone else and our families. I am a little worried because I had to take progesterone last time because my numbers weren't doubling. I'm hoping that is not the case this time!

I'm not sure yet... I had 2 hospital births and my last daughter was born naturally, in a tub, in a wonderful birthing center. I don't have access to anything like that where I am living, so we might be considering homebirth.

I'm not really sure. I think that I would like a boy after 3 daughters, but I would be just as excited (and maybe relieved) with a fourth daughter

just one, but I am going for a quant test today. Since I conceived on Plan B, we want to rule out ectopic.

2. How many kids do you have (including the new baby)? This is our third, dd will be 4.5 and ds will be 2.5 when this baby is born.

4. When are you "due?" October 8th (there seems to be a lot of us due then!!)

5. Do you have any names picked out? Nothing! With both other kids we knew right away what their names would be but we have nothing this time...

6. List 3 facts about yourself. 1. I'm a SAHM and love it. I don't plan on going back to work ever, right now we are planning on homeschooling 2. I teach the Billings Method of natural family planning 3. I love to read!

7. Is this your last baby or do you want more? I think we'll probably have one more after this, none of them have been 'planned' so far though so we'll see!

8. Do you have any cravings yet? Fries! Wendy's fries. Yum.

9.  What is your plan for the birth? There aren't a whole lot of options where we live. There are no midwives anywhere near us so we're basically stuck at the hospital. I'm already looking forward to using the gas while I'm in labour though, it was tons of fun last time!

10. We know healthy, but hoping for a girl/boy/twins? Twins is a bad word here, NO twins! I would kind of like another girl but we don't really care.

12. What state do you live in? We're up in Northern Alberta (Canada)

13. Do you have any hobbies? I love photography, scrapbooking, sewing... lots of crafty stuff. Oh and canning! I seem to have a small addiction to canning.

14. How many pregnancy tests have you taken so far, lol? 4! I only ever took one with my other two but this time I needed a lot more convincing.

15. Have you told anyone your pregnant or waiting? If waiting, details. We've told a few people. My parents know and a few friends but we're waiting until Easter to tell the rest of our family. If this pregnancy is anything like my last one I'll really be showing by 16 weeks and we're just going to show up and not say anything until they notice. :D

It has taken me at least 3 days with each child...#3 was 5 days old before she had a name. It's really hard to pick out a name beforehand, because the name may not fit once you see the baby!

I want more for sure, though we may consider adoption

No I honestly feel nothing except a little boob tenderness

Other than it running in my family (including my sister's naturally conceived 2.5 year old b/g twins), I had 2 big follicles (one on each ovary) when we triggered and had our insemination, so it's very possible that both eggs were fertilized (we'll find out next Friday!)

8. Do you have any cravings yet?  No, and I never had those the first time around.

I live in Brazil.

13. Do you have any hobbies? I run, dance (ballroom and ballet), windsurf, teach Pilates and I love to workout.

Just one at the health unit.  I went in for constipation and walked out with the news I'm pregnant.

I have only told 2 girlfriends.  My husband still doesn't know b/c I want to wait to tell him at our anniversary dinner next Thursday.  I wrote a silly poem to give him the news since this is a compete surprise to us.  We had a condom slip on day 15 of my cycle.  Pretty ironic since we were trying last fall and nothing happened.

oooh girrlll....I do hear you on the ICs for reasurrance. I still do one every single day-and I realize logically it doesn't make any sense, because even after I lost my previous babes, I was "positive" on a pee-stick for weeks after...but still, it does help me stay hopeful....I'll bet my number is higher than yours! ;) (hugs)
