new in Tampa

Thread Starter

Hello, We have just moved to Bradenton, and we will be looking for a rental house in Tampa as soon as we know a bit more about our situation.  (We have to scope out the area more and get involved in the community a bit more before we pick our final area to move to.)

We would like to get plugged into the Tampa homeschooling community asap!

About us:  Christian, homeschooling (rather unschooly these days), non-vaxing, APing, gentle discipline, traditional foods eating family with 2 girls, ages 7.5 and 3.  We deal with food allergies too.  We love to go to Disney and are part of the Disneyschooling group.

Anybody want to hang out?  Can you point me to some groups around town?  We do well hanging out in either a Christian or non-Christian group.

Oh, and we'd love some church suggestions as well.  We pretty much stick to mid-size non-denominational churches that are kid-friendly (meaning they don't mind some noisy kids in the service AND they have a great kids program too!)

Thanks very much!!

Hi, I'm a Tampa homeschooler with 4 children ages 3 to 8.  Our oldest is a girl.  We have a Christian worldview.  We live close to 275 and Hills. and are interested in making new homeschooling friends.
