Bathroom Makeover

Can I show off my 'new' bathroom?  My Dad, DH and I redid it this month.  I think I rehomed or tossed 85% of the stuff that had been in this tiny bathroom before.  It is so clean and bright now. I love it!

Love it! Especially the wall with the artwork and the bright coloured towels hanging underneath.

Looks awesome!  You must be so excited to have a "new" bathroom!  I love the beadboard; it's what we're going to use in our bathroom remodel too.

 

Tell me about the window in the shower/tub area.  We are remodeling our bathroom this spring, and I desperately want to move the tub to the short wall, which would really open up the layout.  There's a window there, though, which kind of scares me.  How do you protect it from water damage?  Thanks!

When we pulled the tile down there was a bit of water damage on the wall around the window, and the wooden sill behind the tile was totally rotted out.  We replaced the sill (at a slight angle so the water will run off) and trimmed the window with some kind of 'plastic composite' wood.  Hopefully that will prevent any further water damage.
