New Member Using Creighton- a question

Hi! I am new to the boards. I was pointed here by another site that I visit. My husband and I definitely want children one day, but would like to become better established fist. (We have only been married for one month). Anyway, in accordance with our religious beliefs, we are using the Creighton (cervical mucus) method of family planning. I am still on my first cycle of charting, so this is very new to me.

Anyway, I have a question. On two different occasions I noticed yellow mucus. Right now I am taking an antibiotic for a pilonidal cyst (cyst on the tailbone) as well as using Neosporin. I'm wondering if either of those could be the reason.

Also, we had our first follow up with our consultant earlier this week. I mentioned to her that I have had very heavy bleeding the last 3 cycles- to the point I am backing up a super tampon with a pad due to soaking through- and I am changing it about every hour and a half. She has referred me to a doctor that is familiar with the Creighton method. I'm wondering what I should expect at that appointment. Thanks for the help!

It will depend on what the physician suspects is going on.  Bring your chart!  NaPro physicians can tell a whole lot by looking at your chart.

Hi!

I dont have an answer to the creighton question but what you described about the heavy bleeding is the sane thing that happened to me. I read on another forum changing to natural chlorine and chemical free products would help. I have been using 7th generation along with the diva cup and the heavy bleeding stopped. So did my bad cramps as well. Maybe something to lOok into smile.gif it has been amazing since!
