very tall DD, which convertible to get her sister

My DD1 is 36 inches and 31 lbs.  She has some room in her sunshine kids radian 80 SL, but not a ton of headroom (seems like it would be more, but it is installed at a 45 degree angle, CHP said it must stay that way until FF).  I want to get another seat for DD2 who is almost 5 months.  She is not as tall as DD1 was at this point, but I think she will be pretty tall too.  I can't get 2 sunshine kids radian 65 in my van at 45 degrees.  I want to keep both RF as long as possible.

Thanks

You can install seats as upright as 30 degrees for children with good head control.  But, that's a hard thing to do with the Radian the way it's designed.

A great seat that actually goes taller than the radian, but it easy to install upright, is the Complete Air.  My 36" tall ds has oodles of room in it, rfing and ffing.
