Anyone else have a tilted uterus?

I do, and I didn't have any trouble at all getting pregnant, obviously. The current theory is that my last pregnancy stretched my ligaments all to hell and so now it's tipped backwards, since I didn't have one before my first daughter. My midwife told me to expect a little more cramping than last time as my uterus starts to grow and tips forward again. I'm not sure if I'm crazy or not, but it seems like it seems to go back and forth? Like later in the day after I'm up and walking and stuff, it seems to be tipping forward because I suddenly look a LOT more pregnant and my abs ache like they did when I was a lot more pregnant last time (which does not bode well. I had diastatis recti and thought it was all better, but I'm already able to fit a finger between my abs). And then after I go to sleep and I wake up, it's backwards again.

Are there any exercises I can do to get it to tip forward and stay there, and strengthen my abs?

I was told I had a tilted uterus at my first appointment when I was pregnant with my first.  No one else had told me that before and I had had no issue getting pregnant.  Since then no one has made any mention of it so I have no idea if it was tilted or not these last few years.

I do find this pregnancy that I seem bigger later in the day then in the morning.  I have a feeling that I use my abs throughout the day to help support the uterus etc. but by the end of the day I am more tired and not doing it as much.  I don't do it on purpose and now that I am 32 weeks I am not noticing this much... just big all the time now.

I have been doing some prenatal palates  this pregnancy that has lots of things for ab work (none super hard and modified or adjusted by trimester).  You might look for something like that to get started on now.  I really like that and yoga and have a DVD of the two combined.

I was told I had a tilted uterus after my 2nd baby when we were having trouble getting pg again. Didn't have trouble the 4th time. I don't know if mine is still tilted or not. At 28w I can't tell!

I was told I had one at my 12 week sonogram with DS. They only said it was fine it'd straighten itself out and I never heard anything more about it. This time I was told nothing so I don't know if it's true or not but doesn't seem to be a concern if it is.

I have had a tilted uterus at the start of all of my pregnancies.  If you want to encourage it to move forward, hands and knees position, knee-chest position (get on hands and knees and lower your forehead to the floor, basically), and not lying on your back at night (lie on your side) can help...but my understanding is that as long as it's small enough to fit inside your pelvis, it isn't likely to stay forward on its own.  This is my third pregnancy and each time around the 14 week mark, my uterus starts to get to the point where it's big enough to finally get in the right position and stay put.  During that transition time, it is not unusual (it's happened to me like clockwork each time) to have some trouble starting the flow of urine/emptying the bladder.  This time around things got a little more intense...I had one night where I woke up with a full bladder and just could not pee.  I spent some time in knee-chest position and after about 30 minutes I managed to go...for the next couple of nights after that I set my alarm at night for every 2 hours so my bladder wouldn't get so full!  It was only a few days after that when the problem went away entirely.  I have a friend who's an OB; she told me when I called her with questions about this the first time around that if I can't void at all, I should go to emergency to be catheterized...and that they would then keep an eye on me to make sure the uterus moved on its own, as there is a manual procedure they do in the rare cases where it doesn't move of its own accord.

The appearing bigger at night might be your uterus, but it might just be bloat/full bowel, etc...I have heard alot of people say that happens to them.

My uterus has always been retroflexed.  Pregnancy can apparently straighten it out sometimes.  I guess we shall see.
