DH has a conference to go to, so DD (6 mos) and I get to go along!  Yippee!!  Except for 2 things:  a) I'm a Florida Native and S.N.O.W. is a four letter word for me  and b) how baby friendly is D.C.? 

 

What do I wear?  (I do have a coat)

Will I be able to take the bus/metro with a stroller?  (I baby wear, too, but a 3 hour jaunt to the Smithsonian + babywearing might put me in the hospital, haha)

 

Is D.C. conservative?  Is breastfeeding in public going to be ok up there?  I have no problems at home here in FL, but you never know with other states.

 

I'll be on my own during the day while DH is at this event.  Travel tips and suggestions for things for baby and I to do would be awesome!!  Thanks, everyone  :)
