Need a sexy nursing bra with support for a good price. Any ideas?

Hi mamas,

I want to celebrate breast feeding for 2 years by investing in some good bras. They don't need to be nursing bras, per say, but would like them to be nursing friendly. I have survived the last two years in shelf tanks, but I am SO READY for a sexier, more supportive lingerie.

Also, these must be reasonably priced.

Thanks ahead of time for your favorites!!

I am just chiming in that I would love some good ideas too.

Someone joked to me about getting peak-a-boo bras, and said that they are the same thing as nursing bras, but I have no idea.orngtongue.gif

I am just tired of plain white.

There are a couple of brands. Cake Lingerie is one. Its nice put it may be a little high on the price side.

Another brand is You! Lingerie. Its a newer line but its sexy and reasonably priced. You can check them out at:

What size are you?  some only come in certain ranges.

La leche league has some not bad looking ones, with some prints

bella materna - pretty but not cheap.

Freya has nice ones in larger cup sizes, also not really cheap

and even bravado has some cute ones now

breakout bras has a nice selection, and the one at the bottom of the page is only 32 bucks.

The You! ones are cute but I'd like to see them on a larger model too.  They come in my size but I can't imagine them holding me up/in.

Hi.  I just recently bought a decent nursing bra from Babies R Us (store not online).  It is comfortable, black, clips in the front, and makes my boobs look pretty great.  I think it was about $20.  Totally worth it, I'd say.   Good luck.  :)

Thanks, mamas! I ordered a couple from "Breakout Bras"...

I'll let you know, but I have high hopes!

Thanks for the links! I didn't find "sexy" but I found some nice looking nursing bras in my size - ON SALE! Amazing! thumb.gif And I found a 10% off plus free shipping for Breakout Bras, too. Can't beat three items for what many single bras would cost. Yay!

I got a gorgeous black lace nursing bra with underwire at target. I also got a blue with white polka dots, and a gray one with cream-colored lace trim, all less than $15 each.

I love some of the HOTmilk bras, they also have the matching panties and garters, which is damn sexy! But the bras are in the $50 price range, way beyond my budget.

I also celebrated the 2 year mark with some nursing apparel- I got this: http://www.milknursingwear.com/store/pc/Smocked-floral-print-nursing-sundress-3p144.htm

edited to add these links:

here's the blue one  http://www.target.com/Gilligan-OMalley-Nursing-Softcup-Bra/dp/B002HIY85G/ref=sc_qi_detailbutton

this is the black one, it's super sexy and looks GREAT under clothes: http://www.target.com/Gilligan-OMalley-Lace-Underwire-Nursing/dp/B000KKWUPI/ref=sc_qi_detailbutton

and this is the gray, it is NOT a sleep bra no matter what they say: http://www.target.com/Gilligan-Malley-Nursing-Sleep-Bra/dp/B003L0ZSLM/ref=sc_qi_detailbutton

I have had a LOT of trouble finding a nursing bra that is comfortable all day in my size, but also doesnt make my bigger boobs look horrible in fitted shirts!  Is this just wishful thinking?  I wear a size 36 DD.  Everything I try either has no decent support, of just squishes my poor breasts together.  Help!
