Our 18 month old DD woke up yesterday morning with laryngitis. She doesn't have any fever, or cough, or anything. She seems in good enough spirits, although she isn't eating much. She doesn't complain of pain. Although she doesn't have tons of language, she can communicate.

She has not ever been sick like this before. I am sure it is uncomfortable for her. Yesterday she had a rough voice. Today she can barely talk at all. She is seeing a doctor tomorrow for her 18 month well baby visit. So we can get her checked out.

What is good to treat her for her discomfort? We have her drinking lots of water and breast milk. She doesn't want to eat much. We have given her some honey. She doesn't drink anything warm or like things really cold. She doesn't like popsicles, smoothies or ice cream. But she never has. And she cant have citrus.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
